On the System Preferences screen, click on Trackpad. Click on the Apple Icon from the top menu bar on your Mac and then click on System Preferences… in the drop-down menu.Ģ. In case you do not like this feature and would rather prefer the traditional way of clicking on the trackpad, you can disable Tap to Click on your Mac by following the steps below.ġ. Now go to Touchpad tab, and you can see the checkbox before Enable mouse clicks with touchpad. On the Trackpad settings screen, click on Point and Click tab (in case you already aren’t there) and then enable Tap to click on your Mac by clicking on the little box next to Tap to click (See image below).
